What business clients said ... Power of Personal Story Workshops

What were you expecting ?
A lecture
That people are shy.

What surprised you?

How interactive it was.

That one interesting question can lead to so much conversation.
New questions were the gateway to information.
The openness once you asked just one question.
We were involved in the workshop.
Didn't know how easy conversations can be, and how to find common ground.
How easy it is to get people talking
I was surprised that I found it fun
The simplicity of the concept
How similar my partner's views were to mine.
The energy in the room with everyone sharing
Depth of thoughts
How easy it was to converse (when given a topic)

How could you use ideas from this session?

Realize that even though you've worked with someone for 15 years, there is a lot to learn about them.
How to carry on a conversation with others as I am quite introverted.
We are always in places where we have the opportunity to get to know someone

To have a couple of conversations opens the world to you.
To remember that people are all deep and have a story of their own that is unique and special.

What value do you see in this process?

Deepening relationships and expanding personal views through conversation.
It gives you the opportunity to share your story and open someone's eyes' to everything.
Feel like I know her better,. She has survived as a beautiful person against the odds.

What did you learn?

Honestly too much to write. Learned things I never would have learned otherwise.

I'm able to ask a lot of questions.
How much I enjoy telling my story

How beautiful our differences are.

Everyone has something interesting to share.
We love to talk about ourselves.
